Reporting to the Assistant Provost of Teaching and Learning, the Director of Dual Credit and P-20 Partnerships is responsible for providing administrative leadership and supervision for the strategic planning, development, coordination, and oversight of the college's dual credit programs, as well as fostering and maintaining partnerships across the P-20 education continuum (preschool through higher education). This position will ensure seamless pathways for students from secondary to postsecondary education, strengthening community relationships, and promoting access to higher education for all students in the region. This position works in collaboration with the Provost Council team and staff who coordinate specific high school programs.

Lead the development, implementation, and expansion of dual credit programs for high school students, including but not limited to articulation agreements, curriculum development, and compliance with Illinois Board of Higher Education (IBHE) and Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) guidelines.

Lead the creation and implementation of the infrastructure, systems, and culture necessary to build and sustain a high-quality dual credit program. Ensure alignment with institutional goals and state regulations while developing scalable solutions to support program growth.

Serve as the primary point of contact for high schools and district partners, overseeing the smooth execution of dual credit agreements. Provide ongoing faculty support and work collaboratively to ensure a focus on student success, retention, and achievement.

Monitor and evaluate dual credit course offerings to ensure alignment with college academic standards, institutional goals, and state regulations.

Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and maintain accurate records of student enrollment, grades, and transcripts in coordination with the Registrar's office.

In collaboration with Waubonsee academic divisions plan, organize, and administer activities that provide faculty support and professional development for high school dual credit and transitional course instructors.

Develop and implement a comprehensive strategic plan for dual credit and P-20 partnerships (with a focus on engaging stakeholders across the full P-20 spectrum, including K-8 schools).

Manage a team of staff dedicated to dual credit and P-20 initiatives, providing leadership, training, and support to ensure program success.

Represent the college at local, regional, and state meetings related to dual credit and P-20 initiatives, including attendance at relevant conferences and forums.

Foster initiatives that promote academic achievement, retention, and completion for dual credit students.

Develop and implement strategies to support underrepresented populations in dual credit programs, including but not limited to first-generation college students, low-income students, and students from diverse backgrounds.

Collaborate with academic advisors and student services to ensure dual credit students receive the appropriate support services.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's degree in Education, Higher Education Administration, or a related field required; Doctorate preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education administration, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing dual credit programs, P-20 partnerships, or similar initiatives.

Minimum of two years of experience of direct supervisory experience required, including managing staff, providing training, and supporting team development.

Strong knowledge of Illinois state education policies, IBHE and ICCB regulations, and federal guidelines related to dual credit and articulation agreements.

Proven track record of successful partnership building with K-12 schools, universities, community organizations, and other stakeholders.

Commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within educational programs and partnerships.
