The Media Technical Assistant - Extension Campus reports to the Information Technology Coordinator - Extension Campuses. The Media Technical Assistant - Extension Campus is responsible for scheduling, distribution and control of college media equipment at the Aurora Downtown, Aurora Fox Valley, and Plano Campuses and at the Sugar Grove campus as needed.

Schedule, set-up and recover college media equipment at the extension campuses.

Assist instructors, students and staff in the use of all college media equipment.

Troubleshoot classroom media equipment problems and report mechanical failures to the appropriate personnel.

Assist the Information Technology Customer Service Assistants by performing computer lab support as needed.

Provide technical media and computer assistance for special events in the Academic Professional Center Event Room and Aurora Downtown Campus Multi-Purpose Room.

Assist in maintaining inventory of college computer hardware and software.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.

One year experience with personal computers and media equipment or related experience required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible schedule including occasional weekend hours.

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Please attach the following documents when applying:
